Angie Sora is a Colombian visual storyteller, photographer and filmmaker based in Spain.

 

Her work is guided by a deep love for the real — for stories that exist beyond the staged and the artificial, and for the beauty found in people, places and the natural world.

 

Photography has always been a way for Angie to slow down and observe. Through images and moving pictures, she looks for those fleeting moments that reveal something genuine: a connection, a landscape, a gesture, a feeling.

 

Her journey has taken her from Colombia to Australia and, since 2017, to Spain. Along the way, travel has become an essential part of both her life and her creative language, shaping the way she understands and documents the world around her.

 

For the past several years, the sea has also been an important part of her life. Working and living on the water has brought her closer to nature and given her a different perspective on time, movement, and the relationship between humans and their environment. The sea is not only part of her personal story, but an ongoing source of inspiration in her visual work.

 

With a background in film production, editing and colour grading, Angie works across photography, film and visual storytelling. Her approach is observational and sensitive, with a particular interest in nature, travel, human stories and the quiet moments that often go unnoticed.

 

At the heart of her work is a simple intention: to look closely, stay connected to what is real, and tell stories that make us feel something.
